Come join us and learn a traditional martial art
We practice Tae Kwon-Do, a system of unarmed combat that originated in Korea.
We accept anyone from age 6ish plus (depending on the maturity of the individual).
The first two lessons are free and there are no contracts. There's nothing to lose from giving it a go -so come along and say hello.
We're a fairly new club with a friendly, welcoming bunch of students keen to see each other succeed. We enjoy our training but have fun along the way.
Tae Kwon-Do is a martial art that specialises in kicking. It has some tremendous and challenging techniques which will push you in strength, flexibility, and co-ordination.
You don’t need to be flexible or co-ordinated to start - the syllabus is designed to follow a programme which encourages constant improvement whilst introducing new challenges.
If you want to learn a new skill and are up for a challenge then this could be the activity for you.
I’m Richard, a 4th Degree Tae Kwon-Do black belt. I’m a Qualified Instructor, referee, first aid and safeguarding trained.
I've trained in Tae Kwon-Do for most of my life, starting many years ago at around 11 years old.
I’ve loved teaching at clubs across Devon and in Chard for decades but recently jumped at the opportunity to have my own club here in Wellington.
Tae Kwon-Do has something for everyone.
It is far more than an exercise in kicking/punching/blocking. People find that training in a martial art helps to increase their confidence, as well an benefiting them physically and mentally.
Come along, get yourself a healthy hobby and meet a supportive group of students whilst you’re at it.
First 2 sessions are free so you can try before deciding if Tae Kwon Do is for you.
We are proud to be a part of ONE Martial Arts (OMA), a forward looking, growing organisation.
Being part of a professional organisation has some great benefits
If you have questions or just want to get in touch, send us a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
